The Shriner’s Circus: Tampa’s Annual Old School Circus Event

Back in 2016 me and the fam attended the annual Egypt Shrine Circus–the first time I’ve ever attended the event so I had no idea what to expect.

The circus is put on annually to raise money for the kiddos and because it is fun. I picked up discounted tickets at a drug store that partnered with the circus. The circus is held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

The first thing I noticed was the giraffes:

For a few bucks we received carrots and lettuce to feed the giraffes:

Or to feed zebras:

Once inside we settled on the benches and the show soon began. There were dog tricks, tightrope walking, tightrope biking and lots of silly clowns. Unfortunately, sometimes I forget that I am a blogger and this was one of those times…so I don’t have pictures of all the cool festivities…whoops.

BUT…next time I go (because it was definitely worth it) I will snap plenty of photos and put them up here.

Until then, you can learn the latest information about the Tampa Shriners Circus (and see cool pictures) right here: http://egyptshrinecircus.com/.
