It’s back! The Smithsonian Museum is giving away free tickets to amazing museums again on April 4, 2020. Here’s what you need to do:
Go to right here to reserve your tickets. That’s about it.
There are 58 FL museums available. Out of the 58, I have been to and can recommend (with links to my trip reports):
- Bok Tower Gardens
- The Florida Holocaust Museum
- The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature
Tampa locals will also find Henry B. Plant Museum interesting. The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is also available and is nearby the Henry B. Plant Museum. But I wouldn’t use my free pass on the photograph museum, but it’s worth it if you can find a way to add it on (if you have a reciprocal pass or…multiple email accounts to get more Smithsonian tickets–you didn’t hear that here, though)
I am very interested in The Ringling, which may be what I choose. But I may go back to Bok Tower Gardens, as my wife hasn’t had a chance to go there yet, and I believe it’s the best item on the free museum list. But if my wife is working, then I’m going to The Ringling.
