- Burn Notice – A former “burned” spy living in Miami, trying to get back in the game
- The Cindy Margolis Show – Cindy Margolis hosts a show in Miami where young people dance around a stage
- Claws – set in Palmetto, five manicurists build a criminal empire
- Cougar Town – a recently divorced woman in her 40s explores the dating scene again
- CSI: Miami – one of the most popular TV shows in the world of all time
- Dexter – A lovable serial killer operates in Miami
- Dream Machines – Brothers in Melbourne build concept cars for celebrities and organizations
- Enlisted – Three brothers are assigned to the same unit at fictional Fort McGee (as in Travis McGee?)

- The Mystery Files Of Shelby Woo – filmed in Orlando until the Nickelodeon studio shut down, then it moved to Canada
- On Becoming A God In Central Florida – A dark comedy about a minimum wage worker scheming to make more money
- The Paper – An MTV reality show about a high school newspaper staff
- The Paynes – A Tyler Perry creation that takes place in FL
- Pensacola: Wings of Gold – An action/adventure series taking place at a Naval Air Station in Pensacola
- Pointman – A man is framed of a crime in Jacksonville
