Gold Head Branch State Park is state park #43 for our family. We changed things up for this trip and rented a cabin instead of going tent camping. It was a nice change of pace.
There was an oven, microwave, real beds, and an enormous porch facing Little Lake Johnson.
This was the backyard. Behind where I am standing while taking this photo is the lake.

There was a swim area in the lake, a decent hiking trail that goes through a ravine, and also the Florida Trail passes through the park. Our favorite part was finding a little swimming hole off of one of the trails:
Overall, a nice state park to spend the weekend at.
