Hint: It has nothing to do with Food and Wine and entirely something to do with a 90s rock band AND a another rock legend currently best known for a car insurance commercial. PLUS: The complete Food and Wine Festival concert lineup (It’s pretty impressive).

Busch Gardens really out did themselves this time, and that’s saying something coming from a BG nerd like me. But the inaugural Food and Wine Festival is nothing short of astounding. First, look at the food and drink lineup: 9 Food Cabins, 65+ Fine Wines, 50+ Craft Beers.

That’s a lot to sink your teeth into. Special tickets can be bought for VIP tastings and deals. As always, pass members get 10% off. That goes for all the other Food and Wine packages mentioned throughout this post too.

Now, even though this is called the Food and Wine Festival it is far from the headlining attraction, believe it or not. Busch Gardens has managed, somehow, to land spectacular, elite musical acts for their festival. Some are up and coming, some are established, and some are legends. Check out this lineup:

March 7: Gavin DeGraw     YouTube: I Don’t Want To Be

March 8: Fifth Harmony     YouTube: Sledgehammer

March 14: Kool and the Gang     YouTube: Celebration

March 15: Boys Like Girls     YouTube: The Great Escape

March 21: Kenny Rogers     YouTube: The Gambler

March 22: Pentatonix      YouTube: Evolution of Music

March 28: Stephen Curtis Chapman     YouTube: Dive

March 29: El Gran Combo      YouTube: Me Libere

April 4: Collective Soul      YouTube: Shine

April 5: Echosmith      YouTube: Cool Kids

April 11: KC and the Sunshine Band     YouTube: That’s the Way I Like It

April 12: Josh Turner       YouTube: Would You Go With Me

April 18: Austin Mahone      YouTube: Mmm Yeah

April 19: Daddy Yankee       YouTube: Limbo

April 25: Daughtry      YouTube: It’s Not Over

April 26: Aloe Blacc     YouTube: Wake Me Up

Impressive, right?

The acts I’m most looking for are Collective Soul and Daughtry because I’ve been a rocker my whole life.  But a few others have caught my eye too such as Josh Turner, KC and the Sunshine Band (I dearly hope they wear their disco getup–shake that booty, shake that booty,  shake, shake, shake!), and YouTube sensation Pentatonix.

The festival runs Saturdays and Sundays from March 7 to April 26. The festival is open from noon to 9:00pm on those days. The headline concerts start at 6:00pm. The Food and Wine Festival is included with a day admission, fun card, or year pass. Priority seating for the concerts can be purchased ahead of time along with food and wine sampler packages. For full details, check out the Busch Gardens Food and Wine Festival Website.

Oh yeah, and just for fun. Here is the Kenny Rogers GEIKO commercial.
