Get a single day pass and an all you can eat pizza buffet for $79.00
(To check out the deal for yourself, click here.)
Groupon is offering single day passes for $79.00, plus access to an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet.
The Fine Print:
You must use the voucher by June 30, 2017 or it expires and you cannot use it to get into LEGOLAND. If you don’t use it the voucher will be auto-refunded to you when it expires, so that’s kinda nice. You MUST PRINT THE VOUCHER OUT and bring it with you to the park to redeem. They will not let you in if you only have it on your smartphone. Make sure you check the LEGOLAND website for park hours, as they sometimes change day-to-day. Can’t be combined with other offers. Kids 2 and under are free. The LEGOLAND water park is not included with this voucher and must be purchased separately if you want to go there.
When I clicked on the offer I was brought to a screen that looks a little something like this:
According to the Groupon, the deal is for $79.00. Let’s see what happens when we actually click on the buy button.
I was brought to the order summary that told me the final price was…$79.00. Wow, that’s nice. I thought maybe some fees would be thrown in there. So, the grand total cost of this Groupon, which gets you a pass and a pizza buffet, comes in at $79.00.
So, let’s find out if this is really a deal. I went to the LEGOLAND Florida website to purchase the exact same ticket–a single day admission that does not include the water park. The only difference is I was not able to pre-purchase a ticket to the pizza buffet. Let’s see what happens.
After clicking a bunch of buttons I was brought to the final checkout screen, and my grand total was $84.53.
So that means…purchasing your LEGOLAND single day pass through this Groupon deal as opposed to purchasing the ticket direct from the LEGOLAND website, will save you $5.53. BUT, that does not include the value of the pizza buffet. I don’t know how much exactly that is worth, but next time I go to LEGOLAND I will take a note.
I have personally eaten at the pizza buffet while visiting the park with my family, and to the best of my recollection an adult meal was in the $12.00 – $15.00 range. And yes, the pizza and pasta and desserts were good. I ate myself silly, which was great because I didn’t spend another cent on food the rest of the day.
So, for a single day pass, this deal is legit.
