It was pretty wild stepping through Madame Tussauds Orlando. I’ve always known about Madame Tussauds and have seen the photos and videos and knew that they looked super real, but, seriously, it was insane at how realistic these wax figures looked!
Guests first arrive to meet a very intimidating, unfriendly and scowling Donald Trump in the Oval Office; as opposed to Barak Obama’s teethy smiley and welcoming statue that shares the same room off to the side. Oh man! No place can escape American politics! Not even a celebrity wax museum! Anyway, there was also an Abraham Lincoln deeper in the exhibit. Standing next to all those presidents, I realized something. They are all tall. I am tall. Hmmm…just sayin. 🙂
Mostly, the museum is filled with music stars, movie stars, and athletic stars; making it a great place to take some goofy photos with famous people to put on your Facebook! Ah yes…it’s the simple things in life.
Whatever you do, make sure you buy a ticket online at the Madame Tussauds website before you get there, otherwise, it will be more expensive at the gate. Also, Madame Tussauds is located at a complex called the I-Drive 360 which contains other points of interest including the Orlando Eye and SEA LIFE Orlando . You can buy a ticket that includes all three attractions online, making it a way better deal as opposed to purchasing a single ticket for each exhibit. There is also a fun arcade machine there called the 7D Dark Ride Adventure.
Another thing to consider is getting the Awesomer pass as well which includes a year of Madame Tussauds, the Orlando Eye, SEA LIFE Orlando, and LEGOLAND Florida (which includes free parking). That pass currently costs $149 for a full year. That’s the way I did it; certainly something to consider for Florida residents. Also, make sure you check out the Florida resident deals on Madame Tussauds website as Floridians get a discount on single day tickets.

I will leave you off with a few more wax statue celebrity photos! Until next time!
