Big news everybody. Busch Garden’s spectacular Christmas Town celebration will be included with a normal day admission. That means holders of the annual pass, fun card, or a daily admission will get to enjoy the festivities without an additional purchase as in years pass.
This year the park will transition seamlessly into Christmas Town without needing to shut down. That means there will be extended hours to about 8 or 9pm.
The fan favorite Christmas on Ice show will be back along with the Carol of the Bells lightshow. Over a million Christmas lights will dazzle the park this year, along with tons of wintery transformations–Egypt, for example, will be transformed into the town of Bethlehem and the Serengeti Express train will be the Christmas Town Express, where you can sing Christmas carols while rolling around the park.
There will be plenty to explore this year, according to the official Christmas Town website: Penguin Point, Christmas Town Express, Three Kings Oasis, Celestial Crossing, North Pole, Holiday Hills, Mistletoe Memories, Ice Wonder Way, Celebration Village, Jungle Jubilee, Miracle Way, A Very Furry Christmas, Enchanted Flamingo Way, Poinsettia Parkway, and Christmas Town Village.
Wow. That’s a lot, and I didn’t even include all the shows. There are 22 dates from November 28-December 30. It would be a shame if you are in the Tampa area and miss this event it is arguably the biggest Christmas celebration in the entire Bay area.
