Discount Ticket Providers
Groupon is the #1 way to save on day trips around Florida and I use them all the time. Groupon offers a wide assortment of fantastic deals for aspiring Florida explorers. From art museums to boat tours to skydiving. It’s all here. And when you stack the already discounted prices with one of Groupon’s frequent sales (usually in the form of a promotional code found on Groupon’s homepage) the savings can be significant.
Undercover Tourist is one of the best discount ticket brokers for major theme parks in operation today. I don’t know how they do it, but they consistently manage to sell tickets to mainline attractions–think Disney World, Universal, SeaWorld, etc…–cheaper than the attractions sell the tickets themselves. They are registered with the BBB and have an “A” rating. Definitely worth checking them out.
The Tampa Bay City Pass offers the “greatest hits” of Tampa at a deeply discounted price compared to paying for tickets at the gate. The Pass gets you into Busch Gardens, The Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and the Museum of Science and Industry or Chihuly Collection. Passes are just $106 for an adult and $96 for a child. That’s ridiculous. A single adult ticket to Busch Gardens online costs $89.99.
